Due di noi is a documentary film that shifts the focus away from the disease and towards everything that continues to exist around and beyond it: relationships, desires, plans and the ability to keep imagining the future.

Through the intertwined lives of Chiara and Teresa, the film shows how, today, the value of time is not defined solely by its duration, but by the possibility of filling it with life. Illness remains present, yet its position changes: it is no longer the sole protagonist, but the backdrop to a story that gives space back to the person and their voice.

In 2026, the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, appointed the film’s two protagonists, Teresa Giordano and Chiara Ruaro, Officers of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
